We have a career path for our instructors that allows an employee the chance to move from an instructor position to management. There are many opportunities for motivated and talented instructors to advance. Training and support allows Berlitz employees an opportunity to use their skills at the local level as a Mentor or Kids' Coordinator, or to move into a management track as Instructional Supervisor or into any number of potential opportunities at our national headquarters.
- Our instructors are the reason our customers favor Berlitz. We need instructors from varied backgrounds and experiences to provide our customers with a rich language learning experience.
- There are many opportunities for instructors to grow professionally. These might include working with larger groups such as kids' out service or university or gaining proficiency with higher-level materials and corporate teaching.

- Teachers who show a talent for working with our Young Learners (ages 4-18) might have the opportunity to work as a coordinator in their local Language Center.
- Kids' Coordinators play a vital role in providing instructor support. They meet quarterly with other Kids' Coordinators at our corporate headquarters to share information and for additional training. They bring new techniques and activities back to their Language Centers by sharing this information in meetings and methods with instructors.

- The official mentor is an important position in Berlitz and a natural progression for those instructors interested in building a long-term career with Berlitz.
- Mentors work closely with instructors to increase lesson quality and improve customer focus. Their role is to provide the appropriate combination of direction and support to help all instructors maximise their potential.
- In addition to a thorough knowledge of Berlitz materials and methodology, Mentors must have a proven track-record of teaching top quality lessons, and the ability to help others achieve the same.

- This is one of the most important positions in Berlitz. Instructional Supervisors are the instructional leaders of their Language Centers or units.
- As instructional leader, an Instructional Supervisor not only takes the lead in hiring new staff, but also in monitoring progress, performance, and providing instructors with training and support. They work closely with the Language Center and Unit Managers to help manage the financial health of the Language Center.

- Instructors who have a background in business and have an outstanding track record in the Language Center classroom might have the opportunity to come to work for the Berlitz Business Communications School.
- The Berlitz Business Communications School (BBCS) teaches meeting, leadership, presentation, negotiation and cross-cultural skills to clients.
- Our courses are run on-site at the client’s facilities or in courses open to the public on weeknights and Saturdays at Berlitz Japan headquarters.
- Our goal is to equip students with the skills necessary to become effective leaders and participants in the global business arena. The trainers are our core resource in providing a value-added product to the customers.

- Berlitz Virtual Classroom instructors do all the same things as LC instructors-but they do them online!
- Instructors work from the comfort of their homes using their own computers. According to their schedules, instructors log into the BVC website and converse with students in real time.
- In our virtual classroom instructors use Berlitz materials in combination with specialized tools to create stimulating and engaging lessons. The virtual classroom software is easy and fun to use.
- BVC lessons start at 8:30am and finish at 11:30pm on weeknights, and at 6:15pm on weekends.
